Recruiting.com Career Site Update

We are committed to helping you find and effectively recruit talent. Our team is hard at work to deliver a career site that meets the evolving needs of your company, your job seekers and today’s web.

Over the past several years, the way people use the web has continued to evolve. Mobile usage has surpassed desktop usage, social media has exploded and, increasingly, job search begins at search engines like Google.

So, we’re excited to share that we’ll be updating your career site, at no charge.

What does this mean for my Recruiting.com Career Site?

Over the last year, we’ve continued updating our platform to provide you and your job seekers new features and tools. You’ll soon benefit from these enhancements, which include:

  • Fully responsive site - optimized for job seekers across all devices
  • Expanded integration into Facebook - add your full career site to your company page
  • New job display - new options for better showcasing your jobs
  • Talent Community - build a pipeline of candidates for future job openings
  • Job Alerts - automatically emails candidates when new jobs are posted
  • More robust metadata and markup - increased search visibility of your jobs
  • More robust metadata and markup - includes SSL certificate for additional security

In order to provide you with a fully responsive career site and improved job seeker experience, we’ve also redesigned our templates. That means you benefit from an updated design while maintaining the integrity of your employment brand.

Plus, integration with Google Search!

You may have heard that Google recently announced a new feature related to jobs on Google Search. We believe this means great things for you and your job seekers.

Today, millions of job searches begin at Google. Now, when a user enters a job search as their query, Google recognizes this as a job search and will provide an appropriate list of relevant jobs within a new interface specific to job search. To best obtain jobs and company information, Google is working with recruitment technology providers and Recruiting.com is pleased to be part of this collaboration with Google. That means we will be sending your jobs in real-time to Google.

What do I need to do?

We’ll need you to make an update to your domain that is similar to what your company did when you first launched your career site with Recruiting.com. The change should only take 5-10 minutes to complete and we have simple instructions you can forward to your web administrator. Access our DNS instructions here.

We can migrate your site once you make the DNS change.

We have prepared for an extremely smooth process and we can even show you what your new career site will look like prior to launch. Just give us a call or send an email, we’re happy to give you a quick demo.

When do I need to do this?

We’re excited for you to start taking advantage of the new enhancements as soon as possible. Also, Google Chrome will begin showing a “non-secure” message on any sites that are not encrypted beginning October 1. Once we receive notification that your DNS has been updated, we will begin our process of updating your site to avoid job seekers receiving this warning.

Note: Your jobs will not be sent to Google as part of the jobs integration until your site is migrated, which requires the DNS change.

We’re happy to answer any questions, and as always we appreciate your trust and your business partnership. Reach out to us at anytime at (888) 637-3895 or info@recruiting.com.
